The newly redesigned ASP has been engineered with customers’ needs and expectations in mind to help them maximize the performance of the exhaust hood in effectively capturing contaminated air while efficiently allowing fresh air back into the kitchen space from the make-up air unit.

Key Design Differences That Set Accurex Apart

Accurex has reduced the height of the ASP to 4 inches which improves visual appeal and performance within the hood by optimizing airflow and alleviating air pockets. In addition, refined collar sizing keeps velocities lower and reduces the impact of supply air on the hood’s capture performance.

The ASP now features a rectangular slot design on its perforated panel due to its enhanced performance compared to all of the shapes tested. Additionally, due to the updated fastening method to the shell of the ASP, these perforated panels are easy to remove for cleaning when necessary, saving valuable labor and time. Accurex manufactures these panels as well, offering exceptional value and quality control.
