Schofield, Wisconsin (August, 2025) – Accurex's new Model XRT packaged rooftop unit simultaneously controls both temperature and humidity, supplying precisely conditioned outdoor air into the restaurant space and optimizing indoor comfort.
Engineered for applications that demand a higher percentage of outside air, Model XRT is designed to operate efficiently with value-added features like modulating components for superior comfort and control. Energy-efficient direct drive supply and exhaust fans offer a wide performance range, and electronically commutated (EC) motors on the condenser fans improve efficiency. Factory-programmed controls simplify start-up, allowing for easy field adjustment and flexible unit operation.
The XRT’s prepainted cabinet comes standard with Permatector™ coating for superior protection against the elements, and its double-wall construction with injected foam insulation minimizes sound transmission and improves temperature control. Available options to meet project needs include air-source heat pumps (up to 30 tons) for all-electric cooling and heating; modulating hot gas reheat (HGRH) for optimal comfort without overcooling; modulating powered exhaust to maintain space pressure; and modulating gas furnaces for tighter temperature control while heating.
